- You may use Beyond Your Life to create, manage, and share digital memory profiles of yourself or others, either living or deceased.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/legal guardian consent to use this platform.
- You agree to use the app respectfully, honoring the individuals whose stories are being preserved.
- You acknowledge that certain features use artificial intelligence to generate avatars, voices, and written content based on the materials you upload.

- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information, images, and other materials you upload.
- If you create or manage a profile on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the legal right or moral authority to do so.
- You agree not to upload or distribute any material that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.
3. Content Ownership and License
- You retain full ownership of the content you upload to BYL.
- By uploading content, you grant BYL a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and display your materials solely for the purpose of providing BYL services and generating the requested digital experiences.
- BYL will never sell, use, or distribute your content for marketing, AI training, or external purposes without your explicit written consent.
4. Subscription, Fees and Payments
- BYL offers both one-time purchase options and renewable subscription plans (monthly or annual).
- Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Payments are securely processed through third-party providers (such as Stripe, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).
- BYL does not provide refunds for completed billing periods once a payment is processed.
- Taxes, fees, and currency conversions may apply according to your payment provider’s terms.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
- AI-generated avatars, voice reproductions, and digital messages are symbolic recreations designed to support remembrance and emotional reflection.
- They do not represent a real person, consciousness, or professional psychological advice.
- BYL is not responsible for emotional distress, interpretation, or reactions arising from the use of AI-generated content.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- BYL is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access due to your failure to safeguard account details.
7. Termination and Deletion
- You may delete your account at any time.
- Beyond Your Life reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in abuse, attempts to circumvent the platform’s intended use, or for any other reason deemed appropriate by BYL.
8. Limitation of Liability
- BYL is provided “as is” and “as available.”
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, BYL disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, emotional, or consequential damages resulting from use of the service.
- BYL may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in technology, law, or services.
